8 Month Update

You are getting SO close to sitting up unassisted, and you are all over the place with your rolling! You ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have the sweetest smile on your face. We love you SO much.

We had an impromptu visit to the doctors office this month (again, you weren't sick, but we had to prove that)

Parenting Fail - "Honey" Wheat Bread

As many of you know babies under one can't have honey because of the risk of botulism. So this evening I make myself a grilled cheese sandwich, and Emerson promptly shoved said sandwich in her mouth. Uh, ew. Okay. I'll make a new one. I put Em in her high chair so she can finish my sandwich and grab the 'Honey Wheat' bread. Shit. Shit. Shit. Panic mode. I promptly googled "did I give my baby botulism by feeding her honey wheat bread!?" The answer is no. It's just raw honey and home baked goods that are at risk. Parenting crisis averted.
